DESSIE

I am DESSIE, a beautiful young terrier mix. I was bred over and over until I was emaciated and nearly died, but Angel's Rest saved my life. I'm housetrained and love people. I have lots of energy and love to go for walks. I would love a home where I can be the only pet and get all the attention!

 

LEROY

I am LEROY, a young Lab mix. I was found in Clermont County as a stray running the streets, but Angel's Rest saved my life. I am good with children, cats, but may have issues with some dogs. Usually it doesn't take me long to realize they won't take my toy.  I have tons of energy and love to run and play fetch. I will fetch almost anything you throw to me. I also love to have my ears rubbed, and will even sit and shake your hand to say hello. I would love to have a big, fenced yard where I can run and play with my toys.

FRANNY

My name is Franny.  I am an energetic 2-year old Bluetick Coonhound.  I was found running the streets of New Richmond.  I was malnourished and had problems with food aggression when ARAS gave me a place to live.  While I am no longer malnourished, I do sometimes still have issues with anyone trying to take my food.  I am very playful and need a fenced yard so I can run and exercise.  I am around cats and other dogs all the time, but do prefer some over others.  I am crate trained and do very well in the house.  I would love a forever home and family to love.

HUCK

My name is Huck.  I am an adult Mastiff/Pit mix.  I am a wonderful, loving dog but did have some issues in the past.  When I came to ARAS, I suffered from separation anxiety, but am doing well resolving that problem and am now happy in my new surroundings.  I love my people and, as an only dog, I wll be the most loyal, protective dog you will ever meet.  I listen to commands and mind everyone around me.  I currently live with 50+ cats and I really do not mind them, I am just not fond of other dogs.  I would love to become someone's new and loyal best friend.

BUDDY

Hi, my name is Buddy which is a very fitting name for me because I am best buds with everyone.  I may be an older guy on the outside but am incredibly young at heart.  I came from the Lancaster dog pound where they found me as a stray so there really isn't much background information on me.  I do get along with other animals but would prefer to get all of your attention to myself.  I am so grateful that ARAS took me in and has cared for me, but I would like nothing more than a new forever home where I can love a family throughout my golden years.
